Adler’s research focuses on developing new therapies for lung cancer.

He completed a residency in internal medicine at New York – Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and a fellowship in medical oncology at Stanford University School of Medicine. A longtime advocate of multidisciplinary clinics for managing cancer, he co-founded one of the first multidisciplinary clinics for lung cancer on the West Coast while a faculty member at Stanford.
